Pascal and Donna Paviani have opened Piazza Pascal in the plaza in the center of Restaurant Row in Grand Case. Chef Pascal was born and raised in Paris, although the family is of Italian descent. He trained in Paris at the Academie of Paris. After working in the restaurant business in France for a while, he came to America where he met and married Donna. They had a restaurant near Detroit and moved to the island in the fall of 2009. The menu incorporates his French training with his Italian upbringing and his love of the Caribbean flavors. With Pascal in the kitchen and Donna in the dining room you have "French/Italian cuisine with American hospitality". Stop in soon. Visit us on Facebook.
